Together for a Cure
Join Us in the Fight Against Alzheimer’s
At the Alzheimer’s Association Colorado Chapter, we believe in creating a supportive community. Our annual Purple Gala brings together individuals dedicated to finding a cure and supporting those affected by Alzheimer’s disease. Join us for an evening of purpose, hope, and generosity as we raise funds and awareness for this important cause.
Together In the Fight for a Cure
91,000 Coloradans Are Facing Alzheimers
On top of that number, more than 178,000 caregivers dedicate 309 million hours of unpaid care to their loved ones, family members and friends. We all know someone affected by Alzheimer’s or other form of dementia – whether someone suffering from the disease or someone caring for a loved one with it. Only together can we find the cure.
Our Mission
The Alzheimer’s Association leads the way to end Alzheimer’s and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

Meet Our Gala Co-Chairs
Libby Weaver
Gala Co-Chair
I don't know one person not affected by this horrible disease. I lost my best friend, my mother, a few years ago. The Purple Gala is my way of doing something for her. I wish I had known about the Alzheimer's Association during that time and all the wonderful support they provide.
Annabel Bowlen
Gala Co-Chair
The Purple Gala continues to give me hope and inspiration. It is a way for me to honor my parents and all of our loved ones touched by the disease by creating new memories and reminiscing old memories. I believe the support received from those who attend the gala moves us one step closer to the Alzheimer's Association's vision.
